About the event
Upward Bound House presented the 11th Annual Home Run For Kids, a Brentwood community fundraiser in West Los Angeles. The event was action-packed featuring a DJ, MC Olivia Hill, fitness warm-ups and cool-downs, an expo area to learn about UBH and receive freebies, the Carlthorp Children's Choir leading us in the National Anthem, the 5K main event, the Kiddie K run, the beloved bounce house for the kids, and more.
The 2023 Home Run for Kids event was a resounding success, raising over $86,000 for UBH, enabling us to provide housing for 250 children and their parents.
